In Loving Memory of
Manny O’Perri
2004 - 2020
A rescue from Dowagiac, Michigan, Manny, a black lab mix, never met a stranger. He greeted all with a friendly face and his infamous smile, even on the first day he met his new family.
Manny loved going for long walks, sunbathing by the pool, and playing frisbee in the yard. A refined gentleman, Manny maintained his beautiful shiny black coat despite his ardent refusal to bathe or go anywhere near water. For many years, he enjoyed his nightly Hershey Kiss, a ritual he shared with his Papa Frank (Perri). Manny was also a cheese connoisseur, once helping himself to a full plate of freshly baked brie. He was a beloved brother to Stella, welcoming her into the family and eventually, welcoming her across the Rainbow Bridge. His family is forever grateful for the years and love they shared, and will continue to hold Manny’s memory close to heart.
Our aim at Manny’s is to embody the loving spirit and playful attitude that Manny carried with him throughout his 16 years. We hope to create an inviting, inclusive atmosphere for sports enthusiasts that honors Manny’s legacy of community, positivity, and love of life’s finest pleasures (i.e. food!).
